You can head off on a days " Munro bagging" on the Five Sisters of Kintail or take a less energetic morning stroll wildlife watching for Deer, Dolphins, Sea Eagles, Otters or the elusive Pine Marten. In the evening wind down with a romantic dinner at the Glenelg Inn followed by a dram or three sitting by the log fire. It's hard to beat!! 2016 AUTUMN HOLIDAYS - FILLING UP FAST!! details
Year round holidays
We are one of the holiday cottages in Glenelg that offer accommodation all year round. The main holiday season starts in the Spring and April, especially Easter, is popular with May often being one of the best months for the weather in the Scottish Highlands, June brings the long days and shortest nights. July and August are usually the warmest (and busiest) months, September can again surprise with great weather and October has the beauty of the Autumn colours. November, December, January and February weekend breaks have their own attractions. The days are shorter during the winter but the sight of morning frosts and mists rising over the land as dawn breaks, snow on the hill tops, the deepest blue skies and flat calm seas interspersed with the odd raging gale has a fascination all of its own! As for Hogmanay - well just hang on to your hat!! Take a break in Glenelg and come and see for yourself!! Change-over day is generally Saturday but variable during the winter months.
